Valerio Melandri - Chairman and Fundraising Manager

Professor of Business Economics at the Faculty of Economics of Forlì, University of Bologna, and Director of the Master’s degree in Fundraising for Nonprofit Organizations (www.master-fundraising.it). After the degree (1991) he spent two years in an Italian nonprofit organization, then he moved to United States for three years at the New York University, where he was a visiting scholar and achieved a Master of Nonprofit Management. Melandri is the creator, together with Francesco Santini, of the first Italian Internet Fundraising Portal (www.fundraising.it), of the first blog on Fundraising (www.valeriomelandri.it) and on mailing (http://mailing.fundraising.it). Member of the editorial committee of the monthly Terzo Settore – Il Sole 24 Ore, he has created, together with Mr. Paolo Celli, Centrale Etica (www.centrale-etica.it), a fundraising strategic consulting company for nonprofit companies and he was the Scientific Officer. He was included, by the monthly Class, among the “200 most influent youths of the nation”. He was a Member of the Committee at the Ministry of Economy “for the reform of the Civil Code concerning legal persons and non-recognized associations” and is currently a Member of the Scientific Committee of the Agenzia per le Onlus “For the definition of the fundraising guidelines”. Mauro Picciaiola - Sponsorships Manager

He is a young and dynamic operator of the third sector. Communication is not only his profession, but his passion. This is why he participated as a Braille teacher for sightless youths in the Obiettivo Lingua Italiana project, in Romania. Furthermore, he participated in fundraising projects in Italy and abroad. He worked as a volunteer for the Red Cross of Constanta, in Romania, and participated as a cultural mediator for the project Avvocato di Strada at Bologna. Currently involved in fundraising at the Antoniano, a non-profit organization involved in the field of social communication, the programming of cultural events and entertainment, especially in the service of the weakest and childhood. Since the birth of the Festival of Fundraising - the biggest Italian event dedicated to those involved in fundraising - he followed this event as head of sponsorship and continues to work as a supervisor. He worked as a fundraiser for the Collegio Superiore of the University of Bologna and for Piazza Grande, an association founded by homeless people of Bologna, which deals with social exclusion, rights protection and reintegration of the marginalized. After more than ten years of experience in the nonprofit sector, commitment and dedication continue to inspire his work, all combined with the strong belief in the importance of teaching people how to get the resources to carry out their projects. 
  
 
Andrea Casadei - Corporate Social Responsibility Manager
 
As he thinks the profit sector can support our society, Andrea Casadei specialized in corporate social responsibility. He has a degree in Sales and International Business from the University of Wales and a sociological education. His passion has always been corporate social responsibility. He is also a teacher within the “Leader” manager training project of the Manager Consulting Group. Three years ago he has started to participate in Consulting and Training activities on the Sustainable Internationalization & OECD Guidelines, as well as in research activities on CSR and SME competitiveness. He was the manager for the data transmission forum on manager behaviour of the Research Centre on Corporate Organization of the Bocconi University. He is a speaker in seminars about Ethics and Enterprises, Social Responsibility and Financial Statements. He is also a charter member of the European Business Ethics Network Italia.
 
 
Gianni Solfrini- Professional Placement and Nonprofit Work Manager

He thinks work and dreams are not two different concepts. His work path is characterized by the optimism towards human nature. He is a teacher within the Human Resources Area at the University of Bologna. Furthermore, he delivers seminars on Labour Market and Self Marketing. As a freelancer he works in his Coaching and Career Consultancy Office. He also works as a corporate consultant on human resources recruitment. He wrote more than ten books about working within the Third Sector, namely about Self Marketing and Human Resources, e.g.: Talento al lavoro (2009), Come una piccola organizzazione può reclutare collaboratori...senza investire un euro (2009), Trovare lavoro nel nonprofit. Elisa Castellucci - Office Manager

She has always actively participated in project planning. She is Bachelor of Art in Diplomatic and International Sciences (University of Bologna) and two years ago she has started to work as the administrative manager of Philanthropy Centro Studi. At “Silenziosi operai della croce” Rehabilitation Centre for disabled youths she was the manager for handmade creations, artistic and expressive creativity and the general knowledge laboratories. She cooperated with the prefecture of Forlì-Cesena, at the Immigration Office. A very important part of her training derives from her experience as a Scout, which lasted more than fifteen years. During that experience she has learnt that autonomy, cooperation and organization are essential values if you want to be successful on a personal and professional level.
